When I moved to Tennessee, I lost the structure that used to keep me in Scripture every day. I thought I’d be fine, but the truth is, I drifted. I loved Jesus, but my Bible stayed closed more than it stayed open. And honestly? I felt guilty and frustrated.
Then I found a small group that reminded me what I already knew: God doesn’t call us to perfection. He calls us to Himself. And His Word never returns void — even when we come to it messy, tired, or late.
That’s why I started Open It Anyway. Not because I’m an expert, but because I know what it feels like to need a gentle nudge and a grace-filled reminder. If you’ve ever felt like me — wanting to be in the Word but not sure how to start again — this is for you.
